Eunji Kim’s EFM Testimony (Feb-Apr 2019) “When I first arrived at EFM, I could only introduce myself in English. But now I feel like I have a greater purpose – getting close to God. I didn’t just learn English but also how to love and help my neighbor. I can do many things now with God like preach the gospel and lead worship. There’s a freedom I didn’t know I had.”

The English for Missions School is created for students to successfully communicate in the English language. Our desire is for students to be equipped and further receive training in missions, minister in English-speaking settings, and be more prepared to fulfill God’s calling on their lives.
We have twelve weeks of interaction with English speakers and teachers designed especially for improving your conversation skills in English and basic grammar learning. The twelve weeks will also include class time, worship, intercession, outings, work duties, and other activities to fully immerse in the language. As in YWAM, we have different nationalities where students will develop a better understanding of the cultures around them. We also have community activities to reach our neighborhood, reaching the children and families in our community with the love of God.
By the end of this course, you will be able to have an effective conversation with English speakers and be ready for a DTS or another English YWAM course.
